Marjorie Ann Poole passed away on January 10, 2024. Marjorie (Marge) was born on August 21, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas James Coulter and Dorothy Irene Carlson Coulter.

Marjorie attended Mt. Greenwood Elementary School, Morgan Park High School and Northern Illinois University.

Marge was very active in the 19th Ward Young Republicans Club in Chicago, volunteering during many campaigns and functions (poll watching, voter canvassing, etc.)

In 1969 she moved to Frankfort, IL then moved to the Miami, FL area in 1970 and stayed for four years before returning to Frankfort. In 1979 she returned to Florida and settled in the Sebastian area. In 1982 she married James "Jimmy" Poole.

Marge worked in various Manufactured Home Communities and served two terms on the City of Sebastian Planning Board. She then accepted a position with the City of Sebastian in 1989 and retired in 2008 as Benefit Specialist. Marge was mainly responsible for group insurance, pension information, worker's compensation, payroll preparation and various Human Resource responsibilities. Marge also served as Secretary of the Police Pension Board.

Marge and Jimmy liked road trips and had traveled to the Northwest, West, Midwest, Southwest and the Southeast in the lower U.S. They enjoyed the Alaska Cruise and Land tour and also the cruise to the Panama Canal and Western Caribbean.

Marge and Jimmy were also owner/operators of Poole Motor Sports, parts for racing type go-carts in the state of Florida. This kept them busy on a regular basis and something Marge really enjoyed.

Marge was pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Coulter, Sr. and step-son Richard "Ricky" Poole. She leaves behind her husband  of 38 years, Jimmy, one brother, Thomas J Coulter, Jr of Barefoot Bay, two step-sons, Mike (Marie) and Randy (Kim), grand-daughter Whitney Bond (Justin) and their families. Brother-In-Law Kenneth Poole, Sister-In-Law Alice Faye Irwin and various cousins and their families in Florida, Indiana and Illinois. She also leaves behind her loveable canine companion, April.

Marge was of the Lutheran faith and requests there will not be any services.
