IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie Ann
Repasz
October 26, 1948 – August 21, 2025
Marjorie Ann Repasz, 77, of Sebastian Florida transitioned peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 21, 2025. In a life characterized by challenges overcome and an ever-deepening faith, the Bible passage from Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," became her guiding light. Born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and raised in Kenton, Ohio, she and Jerry, her husband of 53 years, moved to Sebastian in October 2019 from Peoria, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Norma Jackson, her son Robert Repasz (widow Rhonda), and sister Marian (widower Michael) Walsh. She is survived by Jerry, sons Blair List (Christy) of Blacklick, Ohio; Todd Robinson (Crystal) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Ronald Repasz (Meghan) of Prescott Arizona; daughter Lisa Palmgren (John) of Peoria Illinois; Sister Martha Brown (Fred Troutwine) of Greenville, Ohio, brother Daniel (Patricia) of Gahanna, Ohio; grandchildren Kara Cruikshank (Collin), Callie List (Kyle Usner), Sam (Celia) Robinson, Connor Robinson, Dalton Robinson, Yale Robinson, Katie Leho, Payton Alt, Ashley Repasz, Robert Repasz Jr., Jefferson Repasz, Jordan Repasz (Travis Auer), Aiden Repasz, Olivia Repasz, Hunter Palmgren, Duncan Palmgren, Cosmo Palmgren, Magnolia Palmgren, Sunshine Palmgren, Soma Palmgren and great grandchildren Callum Cruikshank, Coleson Cruikshank, Myers Alt, Nolan Robinson, Wyatt Easton, Jameson Auer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a beloved mother, grandma and aunt whose arms were always wide open in welcome, comfort, joy and life insight.
Her perseverance and discipline were shown in healthy eating, the many marathons, half marathons and triathlons she completed and her daily swimming. At the North County Aquatic Center friends remember her as an encourager, willing to push herself and others during her daily swims. She completed her first marathon on her 60th birthday.
For many years she was active in Friends of the Children of Haiti, including multiple medical mission trips to Haiti.
After moving to Sebastian, she became active in St. Sebastian Catholic parish, serving as a leader, with Jerry, of Christ Renews Us (CRU). She quickly touched many lives through Wings, CCW, CRU, headed the Newcomers ministry and was a leader in Al-Anon. Others in the Al Anon program described her as "a beacon of hope for those who felt they had used up all their options. Marge nudged them forward, 'we are here for you' with a calm, non-judgmental witnessing, a hug and a phone number." Others have spoken of her help in taking their faith to a deeper level. For family and friends her deep spiritual insights brought comfort and life perspective. She will be missed by all those with whom she connected.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday August 25th at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 Highway 1, Sebastian Fl. 32958.
The family thanks the staff of VNA Hospice House for their gentle and loving care. Donations may be made to VNA Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL. 32960 or St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
