Mark Edward Veillette, 63, of Sebastian, FL., passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 doing what he loved- air boating.

Mark was born to the late Joan and Norm Veillette on August 2, 1958 in Niagara Falls, New York. After graduating from Lewiston Porter in Youngstown, NY, Mark moved to Florida where he resided.

Mark was employed at Ranger Construction from 1982 until 2011 as Vice President. After leaving Ranger, he pursued building airboats- his passion. He loved fishing in the ocean and in the gulf with his friends, as well as airboating in the marsh and Lake Kissimmee. He loved being at his camp with his dogs Wrangler and Charlie. Mark loved to entertain, have large parties, and cook for everyone.

He is survived by two daughters; Michelle Burks (Derick), and Danielle Veillette; step daughter Christy Horton; sister, Sharon Johnson (Grover) of Youngstown, NY.; brother's Chris Veillette and Danny Veillette, of Florida; two nieces, Kristen La Plante (Bob), Ashleigh Brown (Bob); two nephews, Joseph Johnson (April), Jim Veillette (Danielle).

There will be no prior visitation. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Halo Rescue No-Kill Shelter in Sebastian, Florida.
