Obituary: Marvin Edward Tyson

Marvin Edward Tyson, 81, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL

Mr. Tyson was born May 21, 1930 in Kissimmee, FL and moved to Vero Beach in 2004 from Fellsmere, FL where he had resided since 1943.

He was a cattleman and had worked the Circle F Ranch in Fellsmere and the Gulf & Western Cattle Division. He was a founding member of the Fellsmere Riding Club and a Purple Heart recipient and veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Beverly Ann Tyson of Vero Beach; two sons Clay Tyson of Palm Beach Gardens and Bruddy (Georgia) Tyson of Vero Beach; two brothers Clifford Tyson and Joel Tyson both of Fellsmere, FL; and two grandchildren, Dustin and Dakota.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Lamar Tyson and Philip Duffie.
