Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Eddinger, 67, of Sebastian, FL, passed away January 25, 2019 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian.

Mary was born July 6, 1951 in Lucasville, Ohio and has been a resident of Sebastian since 1972 after moving here from Ripley, NY, where she worked as a beautician. She is survived by the love of her life of 48 years Rodney Eddinger; a son Scott Eddinger (Wife: Wendy) of Micco, FL and a daughter Michelle Jordan of Sebastian, FL. She also left behind 6 grandchildren, (Jamie, Peyton, Mathew, Sarah, Kendra and Damian) & 1 great granddaughter Grace Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Jacob & Mary Jewel Friend and is mourned by 4 siblings (Alan Friend, Arlene Cass, Rhonda Scimemi & Jane Davis).

Scott & I are honored to take a moment to tell you about the life of our Incredible Mother. Her life should be celebrated & remembered as one filled with love, courage, compassion, & laughter.

Mom & Dad began dating while they were just teenagers. Dad was the only person my Uncle would allow Mom to date, since he would chase everyone else off. Our parents got married in Erie County, Pennsylvania on September 26, 1970.

Happiness, Compassion, & Love is the theme of Mom's life. Mom wanted a home full of laughter & love, so she filled it with Family & Cherished Memories.

No matter how Mom was feeling, what was going on or how busy things got, mom was always ready to listen & comfort us with big hugs. The types of hugs that made you feel like you were the only person in the world & everything would always be ok as long as she was around. She has an extraordinary ability to give love. She always had enough love to go around, whether to my Dad, her kids/grandkids, her siblings, friends, or anyone Mom ever met. You have never met a more patient & loving woman than our Mother.

Mom touched the heart of every person she has ever met. She was proof that there is a Heaven & Angels do live among us. We have never met anyone as strong, positive & loving as Mom even to the very end.

She will always be a blessing to each of us & will remain in the hearts of every person who has ever had the pleasure of meeting her.
