Mary Elizabeth Garvin, 84, of Roseland, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
She was born to the late Leonard and Myrtle Feuchter on November 25, 1931 in Ocala, FL. She married Russell E. Garvin on September 23, 1950.
Mary had a passion for baking, cooking, reading, crocheting, and sewing. She loved being outdoors and had an amazing passion for animals. Mary's true love was being with her family and friends. She was always ready to help in any way she could, either with advice, a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen. She gave her love freely to everyone in her life! Mary was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend and will be missed by all.
Mary is survived by her husband, Russell Garvin; sister, Shirley (Robert) Dunbar, of Melbourne; her children Karen (Howard) McClain, of Roseland, and Rebecca (Tracy) Garceau, of Micco; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Lois (James) Slaugenhaupt of Pittsburgh, Pa. She also leaves behind her three nieces, and two nephews. Mary's adopted children include Tony (Tammy) Irwin, and Carol (Peter) LaBlanc, whom she loved as her own.
The family would like to invite everyone to attend a Reception at the Old Roseland Fire Department on 129th Court, Roseland on June 5, 2016 from 1-4 pm. Please join us for food, smiles, tears, hugs and most of all memories of a tremendously loving, giving, caring and always strong lady.
