Marye Jane Marano, 92, of Barefoot Bay, FL passed away at her home on June 7, 2012..

Mrs. Marano was born June 24, 1919 in Waterbury, CT and moved to the area 27 years ago.

She was a Eucharist Minister for 25 years at St. Luke's Church, a member of the Italian-American Club of Barefoot Bay and Sebastian, FL. Mrs. Marano was a member of the New England Club where she was the treasurer, and the past president of Saint Luke's Ladies Guild. She also taught Ballroom Dancing in Sebastian and Barefoot Bay for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years Alfred "Fred" Marano, daughters Terri (Hugh) Murphy of Barefoot Bay, Sandy (Bob) Sheehan of Sebastian; Six grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00am, November 6, 2012 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Micco, Fl. She will be interred at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, Connecticut.
