Mary Sue McMullin,81, of Sebastian, FL, died peacfully at home Friday July 24, 2020 with her family by her side.

She was born on June 27, 1939 in Rockport, TX to late parents, Richard and Maxine Lassiter.  Mary Sue graduated Aransas County High School in 1957 and completed Beauty School opening her own Salon in the early 60's. She worked most of her life in the hospitality industry.  Including the Texas landmark SHORTY'S in Port Aransas, TX. She moved from Texas to the Florida Keys in the 80's, finally making Sebastian her home in 1993. She dedicated her time to her family, friends and Cornerstone Baptist Church(family) in Sebastian.

Mary Sue is survived by her brother Kane Lassiter and his wife Bernie; children: Melody (Jeff) Easterday, Carol (Jim) Hoffman, Cheryl (Bill) Thompson, Tiger Witt and Stephanie McMullin; grandchildren: Hector, Joshua, Lloyd, Sarah, Jimmy, Byron, Hannah, Dylan, Colby, Savannah, Brice, Nylin, and Ciara; great grandchildren: Jagger, Danika, Symphony, Noah and Sailer.

In the words of her youngest son David Stuart (deceased) "She is of a special fabric that is stronger than steel and as fragile as a yellow rose all at once.  A more understanding person you might not ever find. You are perfect; to me , in everyway!"

Mary Sue was filled with the Joy of the Lord and shared that love with everyone she met.

Services to be held at a later date at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
