Matthew S. Erickson, Sr, 92, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 23, 2019 with his family at his side.  Born in Helca, SD, on November 9, 1926 he was son of the late Hilda Sophia Nordlund.  He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Blake) Erickson for the past 69 years. He leaves his children, Matthew S. Erickson, Jr, Sharon (John) Mick, Becky (Tom) Pandolfi and Debra Erickson; loving grandfather of 9 grand, 16 great-grand and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Matthew was a veteran of the US Navy and Marine Corp.  After retiring from General Motors Corp he and his wife moved to Sebastian where he then worked at the Sebastian Golf Course.
