Melinda (Lyn) Myers Smith, age 59, passed away June 24th, 2016 after a battle with Breast Cancer. She was born in Vero Beach, FL on June 5th, 1957 and was a lifelong resident.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rick Smith; daughters, Jennifer (Charlie) Shupard, Lindsey (Jeff) Coleman; father, Wm L. Myers; brother, David N. Myers, and sisters, Lisa Myers and Billie Ramsey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Mary Myers.

Melinda was a woman of strong will and radiant personality and had many talents. She made many friends along the way. During her lifetime she was employed at Piper Aircraft, Associated Home Health of Vero Beach, Cauldwell Banker, Ed Schlitt Reality, City of Vero Beach, and U.S. Postal Service in Melbourne.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL
