Obituary for Michael Garzone

Michael (Mike) Garzone passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 71. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his incredible courage which was an inspiration to his loved ones. He stayed strong until the end.

Mike was born in 'Gravina in Puglia', Italy and moved to America with his family at 9 years old. He was the son of Agata and Pietro Garzone and brother to 5 siblings. He enjoyed a very successful career in the Information Technology field for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2014. His talent with computers was impressive and he was a devoted and loving husband and father.

Mike was beloved by his wife of 38 years, Dawn, and his family. Besides his wife, he leaves behind a cherished family – Michelle Garzone Hall and her husband John, Michael Garzone and his wife Danielle and Anthony Garzone, three grandchildren –Kaylyn, Kayla and Corey - his great grandson Roric with another great grandchild on the way. He also leaves a well loved older brother, Louis Garzone and Lou's wife Mary, his brother-in-law Carlo Simone as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by, and now joins, his parents Pietro and Agata, his brother Joseph and three sisters, Eufemia, Rosa and Gina as well as his father-in-law, Ed, who adored him.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11am at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL 32958
