Mitzi lived a very long life of almost 96 years young.  She would often ask how old she was and remarked " WHAT A NUMBER", "who the heck lives that long" She knew that she had been blessed and loved life.

She was born in Germany and lived thru a war with her sister Rita by her side.  The 2 of them relied  upon each other to stay alive and safe.

Both immigrated to the US after the war and wound up in NYC where Mitzi met a nice Jewish man named Irving Geller and  soon  married.  The 2 of them reared 3 children. Rita, Glenn and Victoria.

On a vacation to Florida, Mitzi and Irving purchase a tropical fish farm in Sebastian, neither one of them knew anything about farming, but learned the business and made it a success.  Mitzi pursued an other career as well and worked as a nail technician for many year before her retirement.

After she retired, she babysat her new born great granddaughter for 3 years and this kept her quit busy and content. She also stayed busy with her church and family and even took a kick boxing class of all things.

Mitzi has 11 grand children, 18 great grand children and 2 great great grand children and her special friend and caretaker Kristen.
