Nona June Hess, 82, of Roseland, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Nona was born in Norfolk, VA on June 17, 1929, and moved to Roseland twenty years ago from Nags Head, NC. She was a nurse who worked at the hospital in Norfolk, VA, then as a visiting nurse. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Morris Jordan of Roseland, 4 sons, Harvey K. Hess, Jr. of Kitty Hawk, NC, John R. Hess of NC, Stephen F. Hess of the Phillippines, and Gary M. Hess of Sebastian, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Vernon Neigenfind of CA, and Kenny Neigenfind of Virginia Beach, VA. No local services are planned.
