He served in the United States Army.
He was retired from Florida Power & Light.
Mr. Collins is survived; by daughter, Deborah Collins Yates, Vero Beach, FL, son, Oliver Danny Collins, Vero Beach, FL, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by; daughter, Carmen Louise Collins, sisters, Loreen Simmons, and Geniva Tice.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 12-1pm at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will begin Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 1pm at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment to follow at Winter Beach Cemetery in Winter Beach, FL.
