Orvis E. Coursey, age 94, of Sebastian passed away Friday, August 07, 2015 at Grace Rehabilitation in Vero Beach.

He was born March 11, 1921 in Polk County, Missouri and had been a resident of Sebastian for over 40 years moving here from Owensburg, Indiana.

Orvis was a WWII veteran serving with the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Sebastian.

Prior to retirement he was a self employed General Contractor in Indian River and St. Lucie County.

Orvis is survived by his partner of many years Judy Bosmeny, of Sebastian; step-son Michael Kremkau, of Ft. Pierce; step-daughter Joan Shipley, of Utah; and 9 step-grandchildren.

A visitation will be 4:00-6:00pm Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Seawinds Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 6:00pm. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion of Sebastian. Burial will be at Sebastian Cemetery in Sebastian, Florida.
