Patricia Ann Marote, 64, of Fellsmere, FL, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2017. She was born on May 15, 1952 in New Bedford, MA to Richard and Emilia Cunha. She lived in the New Bedford area until relocating to Cape Cod in 1982, then Florida in 1994. She was a long time employee of the former Aerovox, Inc. of New Bedford, MA and a former Customer Service Representative of Hale Indian River Groves of Vero Beach, FL until her retirement in 2014. Patricia loved to cook and enjoyed all types of crafts including ceramics, drawing, painting, crochet and quilting.

Patricia is survived by her husband and companion of 38 years, Alan Marote; her mother-in-law, Aurora Marote; her brother, Ronald Cunha and his wife Marianne; her sister-in-law, Debbie Marote; her step-daughter, Erica Marote and her children Danielle and CJ; her nieces, Tammi Miller and Jennifer DoPao and their children Ian Miller and Isabelle DoPao.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Patricia's life by gathering for a Viewing at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL, 32958 on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Sebastian Cemetery.
