Patricia "Pat" Torre peacefully passed away on February, 12, 2018 in Virginia, while surrounded by her daughters.

Patricia was born April 1, 1931 in Cambridge (Hespeler), Ontario, Canada to the late Harold and Hilda Grant Schoenau.  She was also predeceased in death by her devoted and loving husband of 63 years, Dominic "Mike" Torre.

Although Pat was a quiet, gentle woman, she was a dedicated mother and wife who had an adventurous spirit and a zeal to better herself and her family.  When she and her husband were presented with an opportunity to move to Mexico City, Mexico in 1964, she enthusiastically agreed.  Pat then took the responsibility to pack and move herself and five children, who were all under the age of 12, to meet her husband.  She embraced the Mexican culture and worked diligently to master the language during the 2 years that the family lived there.  She further assisted in moving the family to New Hampshire, Ontario Canada, and West Virginia.  In 2000, she and her husband retired to Florida to enjoy the warm climate.

Mrs. Torre is survived by her children:  Joseph Torre (Elsa), Rosemary Torre, Maria Reid (Marc), Michael Torre (Lisa), and Therese Dean (Steven); grandchildren:  Allison, Matthew, Dominic, Sean, David, Mary Kathryn, Andrew, Therese, Emily, and Ben; and great grandchildren:  Michael, Mayela, James, Leonardo and Cruz.

A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian, Fl.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Indian River Library or to the Father Martin Brick Project at St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
