IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Richard
Stuke
February 18, 1962 – November 23, 2022
Paul Richard Stuke, 60, passed away unexpectedly November 23rd, 2022 while visiting his father in Sebastian, Florida.
Paul is predeceased by his mother Barbara Stuke, whom he loved very deeply, and survived by his father Ken Stuke of Sebastian, Fl; his brother Doug (Kathy) Stuke of Prospect, CT; and his sisters Debbie (Nick) Deseno of Ramona, CA and Donna (Tommy) Labella of Portland, CT. He also had a very special connection and deep love for his puppy, Stephanie, who was his constant companion while visiting in Florida.
Paul loved his niece, nibling, and nephews and followed their adventures closely throughout their lives. He will always be remembered in their hearts as loving, original, generous, thoughtful, dedicated, intelligent, with a quirky sense of humor. He felt deeply connected to his loving extended family of cousins as well. There were many cherished memories from times on the beach and at the amusement park on the New Jersey shore, holidays filled with noisy rooms of energetic play, and family get togethers in Wallingford and Portland.
He attended Central Connecticut State University which sparked his love for learning and where he enjoyed DJing at the university radio station. After graduating with degree in Computer Science he launched a successful career in IT until he retired in his 50's to focus on other interests. Music and laughter, especially British comedy, was a passion that brought him joy his entire life.
Paul made his home in Virginia and was an avid world traveler who regularly spent weeks abroad visiting exotic places experiencing new cultures and people. He had just returned from an epic world tour visiting Italy, Greece, and the Mediterranean. He had a cherished group of friends who shared in his life for several decades, especially Jim Stiles of Florida and Jon Daigle of Missouri.
Anyone wishing to send the family a message or share a story is asked to visit Paul Stuke's memorial page at www.seawindsfh.com. There will be a memorial service held at a future date.
In homage to Paul's quirky sense of humor, we will close with a quote from Monty Python's Flying Circus that he would appreciate, "And now for something completely different…".
