Peter Matthew Fidgeon, 54, of Vero Beach, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Peter was born February 21, 1957, in Cherry Point, NC, and moved to Vero Beach 28 years ago from Oregon. He was a government maintenance worker and belonged to the Teamsters Local 769. He was also a member of St John of the Cross Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Maureen Fidgeon of Vero Beach, three sons, Flynn Fidgeon of Vero Beach, Peter Fidgeon of Vero Beach, and Lyle Fidgeon of Vero Beach, brother Tom Fidgeon of Palm Bay, three sisters, Kathleen Fidgeon of Sebastian, Colleen Fidgeon of Hurricane, UT, and Grace Isshiki of Tampa, FL, step mother Lien Fidgeon of Sebastian, and step father Vic Brower of Mesquite, NV. He was predeceased by parents Arthur Fidgeon and Rosemary Brower, and brother Jay Fidgeon. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 10:00 am.
