Phyllis Emily Thompson Boisvert, 89 passed away January 10, 2023 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Phyllis was born February 2, 1933 in Whitinsville, Mass. to Harry and Annie Hilditch Thompson.  She was married to Edward Boisvert. In 1967, they moved from Franklin, Mass. to Vero Beach, Fl. with their three children.

Phyllis retired in 2012 from the IRC School District having worked at Sebastian River High School in the cafeteria.  Prior to that Phyllis was an EMT with the Fellsmere Volunteer Ambulance Squad.  Phyllis was a member of the Fellsmere/Sebastian Lions Club and a founding member of the Fellsmere Historical Church.

Phyllis is survived by daughters Harriet Robb (Thomas) and Maureen Surles (Mark).  Grandchildren Amanda Jaynes and Crystal Vitiritti (Nate); Great-Grandchildren Bailey Holler (Matt Dozer), James Holler, Ethan Vitiritti and Autumn Miller (Jake); one great-great grandchild Andrew Miller.

She is predeceased by her husband, parents, brothers Herbert, George and John Thompson, sisters Lillian Merolli Durant and Janice May Pare'; also a daughter Dianne Elaine Boisvert.

Viewing will be held on January 16, 2023 , 5-7PM at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian.  Funeral services will be held at the Fellsmere Historical Church on January 17, 2023 at 10AM followed by burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
