Randy Lee Mosby passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 12th 2016. He was born to loving parents, Fred and JoAnn on August 27th 1953 in San Diego, California. He was raised in Merritt Island, Florida, traveled to Missouri for college, and continued his professional endeavors in Indian River County for the majority of his life.

Randy loved his son, God, family and his profession. He is survived by his son, Robert Lee (Robbie); loving sisters, Andrea Wistner (Brent) and Kim Priest (John); nephews and niece, Andre, Alex, and Cassie; and his forever friend, Jeff Smith.

Randy earned his bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from the Florida Technological University (1975) and master's degree in civil & structural engineering from the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy - Rolla (1977).

He began his engineering career at Sverdrup & Parcel, where his work focused on the rebuilding of the bridges in the Florida Keys. As the founder of Mosby & Associates he built a body of work throughout Indian River County. Randy always said "good brings good," and this philosophy is embodied through his contributions to community. He was very prideful of these projects, especially the Barber Street Sports Complex and his relief efforts in Jamaica after hurricane Gilbert.

Randy's circle of friends extends from his school days, to those he met during thousands of skydives, to professional life, to his church family, and to all those who have crossed his path at one time or another.

Randy was a brilliant man, a loyal father, with a caring heart, who will be sorely missed by all who loved him - his son, his family, his old and new friends.

He is now Free and at Peace.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Randall's life by gathering for a Memorial Service at Freedom Church, 455 58th Ave SW, Vero Beach, FL on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 am.
