IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymond Albert
Guilmette
February 23, 1934 – September 15, 2025
Raymond A Guilmette, 91 of Sebastian, FL and formerly of Andover, MA and Atkinson, NH, passed away on September 15, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1934, in Lawrence, MA, the son of Irene and Pete Guilmette. Ray was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA. He was employed by General Motors for more than 25 years.
After retirement, Ray was a shining star at Timberland Regional High School, where he worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and was a beloved fixture in the Performing Arts Center, inspiring countless students with his kindness and his wit, and sassy sarcasm. He was given two pages in the yearbook-Unsung Hero.
Ray loved a good scotch and cigar, at times and enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. He will be remembered for being a wonderful provider, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We are grateful for the wonderful memories we shared throughout the years
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and his siblings, Doris Meyers Shirley Plourde and Chanel (Pal) Guilmette. Survivors include his children, Dennis (Nancy) Guilmette, Kenny Guilmette, Bruce (Allan Ward) Guilmette, Brian (Lucia) Guilmette, Mark (Marguerite) Guilmette, and Lisa (Chris Chenel); many grandchildren and his only great granddaughter, Sabrina; brother, Richard "Dickey" Guilmette; sister-in-law, Irene Guilmette; many nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at his request.
