Reginald Sawyer Girouard, 75, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Old Town, ME, September 10, 1935, he was one of 14 siblings. He and his wife of 55 years moved to Micco, FL where they called home for the past 15 years. Reggie enjoyed working or tinkering in his yard. He had a love of Aviaton but most of all entertaining family and friends with his guitar and singing old country songs. Johnny Cash was his favorite. He proudly served 21 years in the Air Force. He was a decorated combat vet. He will be greatly missed by his wife Val and their six surviving children, daughters Kathy Dorr of Greenville, ME, Pam MacArthur of Eddington, ME, Brenda Glidden of Milford, ME, and Donna Girouard of Old Town, ME, sons William Girouard of Palm Bay, FL and Reginald Jr. Of Micco, FL. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Roy. He loved his 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in Maine at a later date.
