Reinhart Thomas Anderson, Sr., 77, of Vero Beach, FL peacefully ended his 21 year battle with COPD, on September 2, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House with his loving family by his side.

Reinhart was born on April 16, 1941 in Rahway, NJ to Norwood and Emily (Thorsen) Anderson.  He was active in the New Jersey Labor Union Local 569 for over 25 years, before retiring to Sebastian, FL with his family 27 years ago.  Reinhart then began working with his sons in their landscaping business, until his heath no longer allowed him to work outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joan (Fink) Anderson; proud sons, Reinhart, Jr. (Shelly), Mark (Cathy), and Scott (Jennifer); 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Norma, and James (Marcia); sister-in-law, Ann; and many nieces and nephews.  Reinhart was predeceased by his parents, Norwood and Emily; and siblings, Radie and Norwood, Jr.

Funeral Services and Burial will be private, per Reinhart's request.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Reinhart's name to VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
