Richard William Ahlers, III, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born October 3, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, and has been a resident of Vero Beach for 7 years moving here from Auburn, WA. He is survived by his son, Derek Ahlers of Bonner's Ferry, ID, father Richard W. Ahlers, Jr. of Lakewood, OH, 2 brothers Walter Ahlers of N. Olmsted, OH, and Fritz Ahlers of Germantown, MD, and sister Laura Boufford of Haymarket, VA. No services are scheduled.
