Richard Leroy Babuschak, 85, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at his home, Pelican Landing Assisted Living.  Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on January 31, 1934, he was son of the late William and Sophia (Tolodziesky) Babuschak.  He was the husband of the late Joan E. (Clickner) Babuschak to whom he had been married to for 40 years.

Richard proudly served in the United States Navy as an electrical repairman aboard the U.S.S. Maloy ship #791. While enlisted he earned the National Defense Medal.  He retired from the Ironworkers Local 68 which was located in Trenton, New Jersey. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and playing cards.

He is survived by his daughter Karen (Babuschak) Schuster and her husband Donald of Sebastian, FL, son Richard C. Babuschak and his wife Linda of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, granddaughter Lynda (Schuster) Mullen and her husband Donald, great-grandson Deegan Lee of Coatesville,  Pennsylvania, several nieces, nephews and godchildren. He was brother of the late William, Francis, Mildred, Robert, Geraldine Natriello and Eleanor Broduer.

A Memorial Service, with military honors will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
