Richard H. McCrea, 85 of Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away on the 19th of September, 2015.
He was born in Plattsburg, NY on the 30th of August, 1930 to Howard S. and Gladys McCrea. He was married to his wife Mary for 63 years. Richard served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and also retired from Newport News Ship Building in Newport News, VA.
He is survived by his wife Mary; his brother Joel; his six children, Richard, Robert, Roland, Marianne, Craig and Elizabeth; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday the 24th of September, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Micco, FL. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Hospital.
