Robert G Cavanaugh, 86 of Vero Beach, FL passed away on February 25, 2019 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Robert was born July 14, 1932 in Holyoke, MA and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1992.  Prior to moving to Vero Beach he worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Revenue.  Robert proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He now joins his loving wife, Theresa (Tremble), and her son, Robert Girard.  He is survived by Theresa's children, Deborah Girard of Southampton, MA, and David Girard of Cape Coral, FL; 3 grandchildren, Heather, Charlotte, and Bryce; 2 great-grandchildren, Liliana and Olyvia; his sister, Joann Moran of Holyoke, MA; many nieces and nephews of Holyoke, MA; as well as  his caregivers, Amanda, Dawn and Mashell.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Robert's life by gathering for a Memorial Service at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL 32958 on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 am.
