Robert F. Hoctor, 83, of Sebastian, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House.
He was born January 11, 1928 in Buffalo, NY and was a resident of Sebastian for nine years coming from Jonesboro, TN.
Robert worked as a Measurement Supervisor for the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company. He belonged to the St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Edna Hoctor of Sebastian, FL, daughters Frances Byrne of Jonesboro, TN and Marilyn Ryan of Burr Ridge, IL, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, sisters Eileen Hoctor, Florence Rabel and Patricia Herdliein all from Buffalo, NY.
He is predeceased by his brothers Kurt Hoctor and Francis Hoctor and sisters Audrey Dean and Janet Miller.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
