Robert G. "Johnny" Garman, 69, of Barefoot Bay, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Sebastian River Medical Center. Johnny was born August 12, 1942, in Youngstown, OH and moved to Barefoot Bay 7 years ago from Rockledge, FL. He was an electrical engineer and worked for IBM. He was a USMC veteran and a member of the Marine Corp League and the American Legion. Johnny was a member of Friendship Christian Community. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Betty Garman of Barefoot Bay, children Michelle Kushner of Chicago, IL, John Kuch of Marietta, OH, Carol Fouse of St. Louis, MO, and David Kuch of Huntsburg, OH, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and sisters Linda of St. Petersburg, Carol of Coral Gables, and Roseanne of Tampa.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 am at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian. Memorial donations can be made to the Friendship Christian Community Building Fund, P.O. Box 780216, Sebastian, FL 32958.
