Robert O. Wilson, 88, of Sebastian, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Sebastian River Medical Center.

He was born on September 29, 1923 in Kentucky and was a resident of Sebastian for twenty eight years coming from Metamora, IN.

He was a welder for General Motors. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and attended New Hope Ministries Church in Winter Beach, FL.

Robert is survived by his wife of 69 years, Arveedus Wilson of Sebastian, his two sons Hobie Wilson of Sebastian and Edward Wilson of Connersville, IN, two daughters Roberta Baker of Vero Beach, FL and Diane Sullivan also of Vero Beach, 18 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, brother James Wilson of Connersville, IN, and two sisters Ruby Halpin of Metamora, IN, and Mary Francis Collins also of Metamora. He is predeceased by two sons Ray and Jerry Wilson, four brothers, Wallace, Cecil, Gene, and Buck, and two sisters, Idie and Hazel.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm, at New Hope Ministries Church in Winter Beach, FL.
