Robert Elton Stroud, 88, of Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at home. He was born July 14, 1923, in Fenton MI, and moved to Barefoot Bay 7 years ago from Grand Rapids, MI. Robert owned Tru Value Hardware stores in the Michigan area and was a member of Rotary. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Stroud of Barefoot Bay, 4 children, Staci Stroud of Grand Rapids, MI, Rocky Stroud of Holland, MI, Cathy Mayes of Boise, ID, and Karyn Bain of Heron, MT, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
