Roger James Gibson, 66 died October 15, 2014. He was born in Fords, New Jersey and resided in Micco, Florida for 29 years.

Roger served in the US Navy, doing three tours in the Viet Nam War and was also a Navy Seal. He was an electrician, a Mason at the Sebastian Masonic Lodge, sang for his church, served his church and served Our Lord. He was a jack-of-all-trades and helped everyone that needed a helping hand. He was also the president of the Micco Homeowners Associations for three years.

He was a beloved husband to Carol Ann Gibson; a father of two children, son James Gibson and daughter Tara Gibson, both from East Brunswick, NJ; and two step-children, Richard LiMato (wife Tracey) of Fellsmere, FL and Michelle Flood (husband Douglas) of Sebastian, FL. He was a grandfather of nine grandchildren, Julie Vargas, Richard, Ashley, Matthew LiMato, Misty Wise, Donnie Flood, Brandi Ooley, and Sarah and Hannah Flood; great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Chandler, July, Nikki, Ryder and Kayden; and brother of James Gibson (wife Janis) of Manasquan, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at the Concordia Lutheran Church, 300 Barefoot Blvd. Micco, FL, on Saturday, November 1, 2014, 10:00 am, with Pastor Jim Spanogle officiating. A private burial after cremation is planned.
