It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ronald E Baskin, on May 26, 2025 in Sebastian, Florida, born on November 26, 1954 in Fort Eustis Virginia. He was the beloved son of the late Robert McClellan, father and Edna Earl, mother.

Not only was he a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle he was a friend to everyone he met and would not hesitate to help others. He retired from Chesapeake Bay steel after taking ownership in 1992 and running very successfully for over 20 years.

Ron was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him in his community. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his retirement in His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His quick passing has left, a void in the heart of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Ron leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 Years, Sheila Baskins; son, Jason W Baskins; grandson, Ian W Baskins; sister, Janice Banks; brother, Wayne Baskins; sister, Marilyn Soto. In addition, his late brother, Kenneth Baskin, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming St., Sebastian, FL on Saturday, May 31st from 12 PM to 1 PM. Memorial service will follow.

Memorial donations, and Ron's name can be made to the American Heart Association.
