Obit: Ronald H. Roberts

Ronald H. Roberts, 79, of Sebastian, FL died peacefully, with his family by his side Thursday, May 24, 2012 at his daughter's home in Sebastian.

Mr. Roberts was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Sebastian 10 years ago from Port St. Lucie, FL having previously resided in Stony Brook, NY.

He had been a linesman/manager for New York Telephone prior to his retirement and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian.

Survivors include his daughters Kathleen Roberts of Sebastian and Corinne Kittka of Meadville, PA; sons Chris Roberts of Skaneatles, NY and Scott Roberts of Stony Brook, NY; a sister Valerie Savage of Hempstead, NY; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Anne Roberts and a son Ronald J. Roberts.

Service: A Celebration of Life Service will take place at the Park Place Clubhouse, Saturday, May 26, 2012 beginning with a prayer service at 10 AM.
Remembrances will continue at the Bryant Funeral Home in Setauket, NY with the family receiving friends 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2012. Mass will then be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Friday, June 1, 2012 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Setauket.
