Rosa Medina, age 65, of Fellsmere, Florida, passed away on Tuesday (November 15, 2016) after a courageous battle with cancer.

Rosa was born on June 4, 1951 in Orlando, FL. She grew up in Apopka and spent most of her adult life in Fellsmere.

Rosa was a loving mother. She was very proud of her family and loved being "Grandma" to her 3 grandchildren. She loved family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.

Rosa is survived by her three children, Jorge Medina and his wife Rosa, Larry Medina and his wife Shea, Lilia Medina; her 3 grandchildren Luis Eduardo, Vanessa, and Mason; her father Hilario Herrera; her 2 brothers, Gonzalo Herrera and Fernando Herrera; her 4 sisters Sylvia Menchaca, Isabel Rodriguez, Consuelo Herrera, and Anita Navarrette, her aunts and uncles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
