Samuel Rhyne, born December 31, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 7, 2026, in Sebastian, Florida.

Samuel married Linda Rhyne on September 3, 1972, beginning a devoted marriage and life together. He served his country through the Tennessee Army National Guard and from the Florida Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in January 1977.

Samuel worked for Florida Power & Light from 1973 until 1995, dedicating more than two decades of service to the company.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Rhyne; his brother, Chris Rhyne, and wife, Jennie; his sister, Karen Sue McInturff, and husband, Anthony; four nieces; and one nephew.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Sebastian, 725 Commerce Center Dr, Sebastian, FL 32958. A Celebration of Samual's life will follow with Pastor Bill Ruehman officiating.
