Scott Silva passed away peacefully at his home in Sebastian, Florida on June 13, 2022 at the age of 70.

Born in Scotia, New York where he graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1970. While growing up in New York, Scott worked with his family at the Silva Restaurant. Scott became employed in the construction industry after graduation until he moved his young family to Sebastian, Florida in 1981. He established the successful Highland Homes construction and roofing company where he contributed to the early development of the Sebastian community.

Scott's generosity, humility, and work ethic allowed him to be a natural leader and mentor to his employees over the years. Scott was an avid NASCAR fan and traveled around the country with his friends to enjoy the live races.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 47 years SueAnn, his son Jason, daughter Jennifer, their spouses Paige Mohler Silva and David Rinker, and his five grandchildren: Joseph, Ella, Madison, Baylee, and David. Scott will also be missed by his sister Lori, brother Brian and Brian's wife Nancy McCLung, sister-in-law Gina Politi, six nieces and nephews, two cousins, Aunt Judy & Uncle Al Van Horn, Uncle Wil & Valerie Wakely.  He was preceded in death by his loving parents Chuck & Joyce Silva and his brother Gregg.

A memorial service to celebrate Scott's life will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home 735 S. Fleming St Sebastian, on July 7th from 5:00- 6:30pm, with a reception to follow.
