Sophie Libbos, age 89 of Sebastian, FL and Finleyville, PA peacefully fell asleep with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2018.  A loving wife and mother, she will truly be missed by the love of her life of 65 years, George Libbos.  Sophie was dedicated and loving to her children, Michael(Jacqueline) Libbos and Christina(David) Picard.  She loved her three granddaughters, Marena (Libbos) and Jeremy DeWitt, Emily(Picard) and Greg Nardine and Melody Picard and Regis Lane.  Special love, hugs and kisses to her four great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Maddox DeWitt, Delaney and Niko Nardine.  Surviving sister, Helen Balouris and Theodora Stambolis and other brothers and sisters called to the Lord.

Sophie and George moved to Sebastian 33years ago from Finleyville, PA.  They were award winning ballroom dancers and enjoyed many cruises together.

The Lord has taken this wonderful, kind and beautiful woman to be by his side and with him has taken a small piece of our hearts, we love you.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 from 4-7 at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 10:00 am at Seawinds Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
