Steven Wayne Artis 41 of Joliet, Ill, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2022. He was bought into this world on June 2,1980 by

his loving mother Sherry Artis.

Steven is preceded in death by his father Bruce John Artis, his maternal grandmother Anna Marie Zivirzin and his paternal grandmother June Artis. Steven leaves behind his daughter Giselle Artis and his son Steven Artis Jr to cherish his love and memories. He also leaves behind his sisters Lisa Lebeda (Mark) and Anna Marie Collazo (Javier), his brothers Bruce and Eric Artis, his nieces Vanessa

Babcock (Tim), Valerie Haglund (Marcus) and Lilia, and his nephew Liam.

Steven was a successful business owner who loved working and caring for animals. His favorite things to do in life were fishing, snorkeling, painting, stargazing, and just being a free spirit. He loved swimming in the Atlantic Ocean in Florida, where he has resided in the last few years. Steven was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed going to games with his kids.

Steven will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him most.
