Thomas "Shane" Herndon Sr. passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2022, at his residence in Roseland, Fl.

Shane was born July 1, 1968, in Melbourne, FL. and grew up in Fellsmere, FL.

Shane spent many years working on commercial fishing boats off the coast of Texas and Louisiana. He recently worked as a landscaper in Roseland, Fl.

In his younger years, Shane had an enormous love of fishing and hunting with his Mom, Dad, Uncle Clyde, Granddaddy, Granny and his cousin Herbie. Shane met his wife Marie in 2018. Shane loved teaching his wife to fish. His favorite past time was spending time with his wife and family. Shane will be sorely missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Warren Thomas Herndon.

Survivors are his wife Marie Jacqueline Herndon of Vero Lake Estates. His mother, Barbara Ann Herndon of Fellsmere. Two sisters, Barbie Meyers of Valdosta, GA., and Kimberly (Mike) Dean of Fellsmere, FL. One son, one grandson and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

His family is holding a private service for Shane to celebrate his life.
