Thomas Lawrence of Sebastian FL originally from Manchester CT born October 7, 1946 in Hartford passed away on December 11, 2020 surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father and mother Walter and Rose Lawrence. Tom was a very proud veteran serving in Vietnam where he served two tours on the USS Boxer. Years later he served as President of the USS Boxer Alumni Assoc. He worked for many years at Barrieau Moving & Storage. Later on he worked in other transportation positions.

He leaves behind his loving and caring wife Elizabeth who made him extremely happy and his three children Cynthia Delstanches of Sebastian FL, Kelly (Richard) Maly of Orange Park FL, and Heidi (Ronald) Taylor of Sebastian FL. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Vincent Faulkner, Chaz Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Brody Krause, Bryce Krause, Christian Delstanches, Thomas Delstanches, Joshua Maly, Andrew Maly, Benjamin Maly, Meghan Maly and two great grandchildren Alli Maly and AJ Maly. He leaves behind his beloved sister Frances Paquette of Portland CT. He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Barrieau and her husband Gerard, and his brother in law Roger Paquette. He leaves his nieces Denise Kiah of Concord NC, Barbara Gordon of Concord NC, Alison Peterson of Windsor CT, Jerilyn Sweet of Portland CT and his nephew Gerard Barrieau Jr of West Hartford CT. Seawinds Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
