Vernon Eugene Ramsdell passed away March 3, 2015 in Barfoot Bay, Fl at the age of 94.
Vernon was born on October 27, 1920 in York, Maine. He graduated from Berwick Academy, South Berwick, Maine and enlisted twice for active duty with the United States Navy and served in WWII
Vernon was a member of the Masonic Lodge in South Berwick, Maine and Scottish Rite in Tampa, Florida, Kora Temple Shriner in Maine and the Moose, American Legion and AARP in Florida.
His hobbies included golf, baseball (South Berwick, Maine) and softball (Half Century Club in St. Petersburg, Florida 17 years)
Vernon was a resident of Florida since 1974 coming from New Hampshire.
Survivors include his two daughters Linda Dumont of Barefoot Bay, Fl and Patti Miller of Salem, Ma; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ramsdell.
