Vincent "Vinnie" Joseph Borst, 80, of Barefoot Bay, Florida passed away on August 20 ^th , 2018 in his home. He was married to his sweetheart, Shirley for 60 years. Born on Staten Island, New York, he is the son of Vincent Borst and Clara Dell Stair, he attended St. Peter's Catholic School. He resided in New Jersey for most of his life, working as a Supervisor at the Port Authority of NY and NJ for 30 years before retiring to Florida. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of the Orioles. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, daughter Robin, son Vincent, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, as well as sisters Marlene and Clara, brother Donald, and many nieces, nephews, loved family and friends. He will be fondly remembered as a respectable, hardworking and loving father, as well as a proud patriot and U.S. Navy veteran. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
