Wallace J. Lawrence, 89, of Sebastian, FL, passed away February 19, 2017 at Indian River Medical Center. Wallace was born in Albion, PA, on March 19, 1927 to Wallace and Nellie Lawrence. He later married his high school sweetheart, Elaine (Thomas) Lawrence and worked for the Bessemer and Lake Erie railroad for 31 years. In 1981, they relocated to Sebastian, FL to enjoy retirement.

Wallace was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elaine. Survivors include his son, Terry (Dorothy) Lawrence of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Vicki (Gene) Vacca of Vero Beach, FL; granddaughters, Connie Lawrence-Willis (Richard) and Julie Kosharek (Darin); and great-grandchildren, Colin Willis, Stevie Gabrielsen, Sierra Gabrielsen, and Dilin Kosharek.

A Gathering is scheduled for 3:00 pm, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL 32958 with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel.
