Wallace " Wally" R. Arneson peacefully passed away after an extended illness on August 6, 2024. Wally was from Madison, WI. Born to Henry and Hazel Heyroth Arneson on August 20, 1937, who predeceased him and a son Steven Arneson who also predeceased him.

Wally served honorably in the United States Army, where he was an internal specialist serving in Germany. He was a long-time member of the Local 802 Painters Union, and a local business owner in Cottage Grove, WI.  Wally and his beloved wife Alice of 65 years retired and moved to Vero Beach, FL 25 years ago, where Wally continued with his passion for woodworking and building.

He is survived by his loving wife Alice Arneson, a son Ricky Arneson (Margaret) and 2 granddaughters Jessica Arneson and Stephanie Finnigan (Sean). Military Honors and a grave side service will be held at a later date with a celebration of his life to be announced. Wally loved animals, in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Wally's honor to: Love of Paw's, Fellsmere FL.
