Warren Robert Steussing

May 5, 1924 - January 20, 2015

Warren R Steussing, 90, died on January 20, 2015 peacefully at home in Micco, FL. Warren was born May 5, 1924 in New Jersey where he resided until moving to Florida 27 years ago.

Warren was a Navy veteran who served our country proudly during WWII. He was a successful businessman owning and operating several businesses throughout his life. Active in his youth he loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He also enjoyed reading and following the stock market in his later years.

Loving husband of Marion and daughter Nancy Salamone who preceded him in death. Surviving are his daughters Linda Morris and husband Richard (Micco, FL) and Carol Heise-Jensen and husband Niels (Ringwood, NJ); son-in-law Louis Salamone (Pompton Lakes, NJ); grandchildren Mark and Brent Salamone, Julie (Salamone) Basinski; Chris and Lea Heise-Jensen; also great grandchildren Avery, Will, Finn, Libby, Madison and Dominic; nieces and nephews all of whom loved and admired him.

With an easy smile and twinkly blue eyes, Warren was friends to many who respected and admired him for the integrity, humor and charm. He will be missed dearly
