Wayne Charles Meyerson, 70, a native of Hampton Bays, NY passed away July 26, 2016 in Sebastian, Florida. He will be remembered as an adventurer who traveled across continents, a Chess professional who successfully coached young champions, a Suffolk County, NY probation officer, and as a young man, a well-liked marina manager. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southampton College. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Stark), step-son Jimmy (wife Nicole), grandson Jacob, mother Margaret, sister Marilyn, brother Bob, and his beloved golden retriever Davy Jones II. He is predeceased by his father Manny (Meyerson) DiMaio.
