Obituary: William Thomson Bame
William Thomson Bame, 96, of Micco, FL died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Florida Shores Assisted Living Facility in West Melbourne, FL.
Mr. Bame was born February 2, 1916 in Syracuse, NY and moved to Micco in 1988 from Pompano Beach, FL.
As a Design Engineer, he had worked as an independent contractor for many major defense contractors. He was of the Presbyterian faith, a member of the Elks Lodge, played banjo in a South Florida touring band, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his sons Raymond Bame of West Hartford, CT and Ronald Bame of Sand Point, ID; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Marie, his second wife Patricia, his third wife Irene, and a brother Eugene "Harry" Bame.
