WILLIAM B. CORCORAN

William B. Corcoran, Jr., 85, of Sebastian, FL died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach after a brief illness.
Mr. Corcoran was born December 3, 1926 in Niagara Falls, NY and moved to Sebastian 14 years ago from Orlando. Prior to moving to Sebastian, he and his family had lived in Niagara Falls, NY, where he was a partner in McCabe Corcoran Electric, Inc., and Middlebury, VT where he practiced electrical engineering. He had been director of the electrical design department at RLF Architects and Engineers in Orlando before retirement in 1998. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years Nancy Kocher Corcoran of Sebastian, FL; six daughters, Pamela Corcoran of St. Albans, VT, Joan Corcoran of San Antonio, TX, Colleen Richards (Steven) of Melbourne,
FL, Mary Jo Moran (Fran) of Tonawanda, NY, Kathleen Gingras (Marc) of Newport, VT and Sebastian, FL and Kirsten Corcoran of Bridport, VT; three sons James Corcoran of Niagara Falls, NY, Kenneth Moore (Susan) of Johnson, VT and Christopher Moore Corcoran of Colchester, VT; two sisters Bernice Loftus and Marjorie Corcoran both of Apopka, FL; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Kennedy Corcoran; a brother Richard Corcoran and a sister Mary Corcoran Bowers.
The family will receive friends at his home on Saturday, March 31 from 1 to 3PM.
